I feel ya. My rabbit chews just about anything in sight as soon as she is let out of her enclosure. Try to get her some wooden blocks. Mine loves it.

Just got one a few days ago. From the very beginning mine was very gentle and love to get pet. Very inquisitive and love to jump on my bed. When she hears me open a bag of jerky she comes running at full speed. They live to chew on cords so watch out for that.

I think my first rabbit was a few years old when I rescued her thereby it she wasn't as friendly as the one I have now. Regardless I had no regrets. At the very least I was able to save her from the becoming someone else's dinner.
