Well, bonding Heff and JuneBug didn't work out so well, so instead we went back and got JuneBug's sister, LibertyBell. They get along great and we just finished expanding their NIC cage. Heff seems a little cranky that there are 2 more bunnies in the house, but he doesn't seem to want to bond...

What type of litter do you use? *We use horse bedding pellets that we get at the local feed store - I think it's called Tres Amigos...but I'm not positive. A 40lb bag is about $5 and it lasts for a long time! We've switched our ferrets and cats to using it too. And it absorbs great...

we finally got more pictures of our heffalump!

yeah, we really shouldn't get any more bunnies...or anything actually...we have quite the collection as it is. Heff doesn't seem to like paper towel or tp rolls...he's very selective about his cardboard it seems. so far he likes his flavored cardboard tube (kinda), doesn't like his chewing...

yay - we have plenty of cardboard...we'll have to give him some. and there will be more pictures tomorrow night hopefully - the digital camera went on the blink and we can only get the pictures if we take it to walmart and transfer from the memory card to a cd, then from the cd to the computer...

thank you for answering :) we're going to pick up panels as soon as we can and i just want to make sure we know what we're getting into... now i know to expect a pain in the butt at least ;) but it definitely seems worth it :biggrin2:

probably a novice question, but are there ramps in your nic cages? the cage our bunny came with (which is too small) has a horrible ramp in it that he falls off of, but the opening is narrow so he can't just hop to the upper level. are the nic cages set up so they can just hop to the 2nd level...
