Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that Blackberry is doing great! We've had no problems at all, except with her bratty toddler behavior. :P Thanks to everyone here who helped and was concerned. Btw, that's her in the avatar. She's gone mostly free range now.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

She stayed overnight on the 16th. When I took her home I started her on the Panacur then. The vet wants to see her again to check her weight and whatnot but didn't mention retesting her. The test was taken on the 17th and I only just now got the results back.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

I didn't have time to call the vet yesterday, but was just called by her today. She said Blackberry did test positive for the E. C and something about .9. She wants me to take her back in and so she can check her over and see if she should up the dosage of meds. Jenk, it's an attitude that...

Still haven't heard the other results. BB is still the same. She's not as playful, but does come in and binky sometimes. She comes into the kitchen wanting greens when she hears me in the kitchen. Appetite good and all that. I'll keep you posted once I hear.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

The vet called me on tuesday and asked how BB was. She told me her regular bloodwork looked good. I'm still waiting on the other tests. Thanks for your concerns, everyone! BB is still eating on her own. When I let her out to play, she plays a little differently now. She spends a lot of time...

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Thanks, and I'm doing ok. My husband and I realize that BB could go on to live a long life with us, or we could wake up to find her gone at some point. We have come to terms that the road may be rocky with her since she lost her mate. We just want to enjoy every day we have her. I also have...

Yes, she is still eating. Using her litter pan and all that. Still waiting on test results.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Well, I totally missed something earlier. We left a pile of hay by her last night and it's gone! She ate it! I mixed up her critical care and she ate it all up earlier. Then I stopped in to vacuum the piggie pens and saw she was munching on some pellets. She didn't eat them all, but I waited...

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Today I opened her pen to greet her. She insisted on coming out and walking around and sniffing for a minute or so. She's got all these tiny little poops around her. Just gotta keep the output coming.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

We mixed up some Critical Care for her and she was a good girl and took it. Only, she fought a lot. :P She is feisty again. She also munched on some greens tonight. Not very many but she was very excited about them when I gave them to the others. She's peeing in her litter pan, though she's a...

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Well, she had blood taken for the E. C test. They also took the blood to do regular blood work stuff. I was given critical care and some other stuff. I'll have to look at that bottle. She has gotten into her litterpan to pee, drank some water. She's still a little unbalanced. Now it's...

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

I just spoke to the vet over the phone about Blackberry. She's had an X-ray and there was no blockage. She is on Critical Care and making poops. They are about to test for E. Cuniculi. I can pick her up in a bit. Right now my hubby is seeing if he still has his Care Credit account. Then I'm...

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

I wasn't about to take her to anyone that didn't actually know rabbits. They could cause way more damage than what's already wrong.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Don't worry. My husband looked at the map at the place a few cities away and said I think you can get there ok. I've never gone long distances by myself. So I called the place and they had a 4 pm appt. available and they said it was ok if I was late. I took him to work in one city then...

I know. He actually got extra education to learn about rabbits. He's the only person in the area I know of who knows jack about them. I've been taking them to him for years! He spayed/neutered them for crying out loud!

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Bad news. My vet stopped seeing rabbits. There is only one place I know of a few cities away and I don't know where it is, how to get to it, and my husband has to work tonight.

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

BB is a contradiction right now. Last night I got her out and had her in my arms, a position she usually hates. She let us feed her hay! that way. And boy did she munch it. She made 2 more poops. We brought her into the living room to see how she would act. She sat there for a minute then ran...

Blackberry cannot walk, she is not eating (RESOLVED)

Pipp, when she had GI Stasis before, it was a very brief thing. About 4 days. One day she skipped a meal and I knew something was up. I got pumpkin and pedialyte to get things moving and within a few days she was back to normal. Yes, I saw a vet at that time and he told me to keep doing what I...
