    Yes, it was caused by flies, almost certain. I noticed some around her butt. The worms probably came after that..but when we cut the hairs, we didn't notice ANY. 2 hours later we had an app.at the vet and she said there are many.. She cleaned the wound but said she couldn't clean everything...
