I'm going to take Thumper and my cat out of the apartment this weekend and do a big clean with flea powder and such. I feel like I have fleas...but I think it's just sympathy itch for Thumper :) I felt so bad leaving him for work this morning!

I just gave him the advantage. The vet didn't seem concerned with using an ointment, but put Thump on Baytril for a week because when i saw the vet yesterday he had no signs of fleas. The two things may or may not be connected.What should I apply to keep the area hydrated? He's never had fleas...

My little boy had his eye removed due to e.cuniculi when he was just about a year old. He went through the surgery perfectly and was happy and running around 24 hours later! He's now 3 and is the happiest bunny on the planet...and gets very spoiled. No worries...

OMG!!! Thank you for the info. We're going to wash it off the cat right now!Don't worry...did not put it anywhere near Thump. The people at the pet store highly recommened it. Ugh. I will have to get some Advantage for Thumper. How would I know if the fleas are bothering him?

Does anyone know if you can use Zodian Spot On Plus for cats on my bun? I haven't actually seen any fleas on him, but a couple pieces of flea poop. The cat definitely has them tho and we just treated her.

My little Thumper had an eye infection also. We had to remove the eye...he was blind for about 6 months before. He's doing great tho! He's as happy as ever and adjusted so well to his handicap! Our bunnies have something in common :happybunny:
