Went out to check on Ginger Snap and the babies and saw this. Soo cute. She is in there still keeping them all warm. Its cold here this morning. Then she final got off her nest. Here are the babies.

Ginger Snap had babies.

Twizzler (black buck) is 5 years old. Never bred before. My daughter wanted to try Twizzler with Ginger Snap. So Friday we put them together. And he got her 2x.

I put them together so you can see the size difference. Nothing happened when I did this.

No babies. No more neating behavior. No hair pulling. So we are going to rebreed her this weekend. The question I have is I think our buck we have is to small. He is at least half her size if not little smaller. Can he breed her or do I need to get a diffrent buck?

She has been laying different today. She has been laying on her tummy with back legs out and front legs out. I will try and get a piture of it then.

Besides her attitude changing she is eating and drinking fine and going to the bathroom fine. I was not there when she was put in with the buck. So I am not sure if he did his job right ;) Our buck we have. is a different breed he is small. Has never had any interest in her until yesterday...

She is not her normal self. She is very crancky. That started yesterday. She normal likes being petted on her back and likes being held. She only lets us pet her head right now

Nothing yet. And today is day 35. So I am guessing she is not pregnant.

New here and somewhat new to rabbits. We have a French Angora (Ginger Snap) that is due any day. This is her first time. She will be a year old in October. She started to make a nest yesterday. She is bred to a black French Angora.
