    baby lionhead rabbits

Conker is a full grown lionhead... I don't know how much he weighs and I can't get him to sit still to measure him but perhaps the pic will give an idea. I got him from a couple in Slough. Unfortunately I don't have their contact details any more but I think it was through this website...

    Bunny thumping.

Conker thumps if I burn the toast, or if hethinks he sees something or someone through the window in the frontdoor while he is keeping guard in the hallway He also thumps if he's cross at going back in his cage, but his cross thump is lighter and less deliberate.

It's very different for me. I don't think of Conker as being vulnerable. He's safe in my house anyway. And he's an adult male animal, and that's pretty much how he behaves. He's lively, demanding, territorial, wilful and despite being pretty much silent is very communicative. Of course I tend to...

    Does your rabbit watch tv?

Conker watches TV. He listens to it too - you can see his body language change as the music and the voices change. He will prick up and periscope when it gets scary or edgy and sometimes even thump and then settle down again once the dramatic bit is over.

    Do other bunnies guard?

I mentioned in my introduction yesterday that Conker was on guard outside the room I was working in. He does this a lot - some times positioning himself on the threshold of the room rather than coming in with me. When there's a noise near the front door, he sits in the hallway, bolt...
