    It's good, depending on the locale, etc. We have redtailed hawks, cats, fleas...a covered run would be protected from all but fleas.

    I am insured with them, costs $12/month for a bun without pre-existing conditions - inquire for costs if your rab has pre-existing conditions. You can save a lot with insurance. Search with Google.

    Is there a topic here on Veterinary Pet Insurance? Everone should know about this. Costs $12/month to insure a rab without prior conditions. Not sure what it costs if prior conditions exist but you can inquire.

    Homemade hay cakes/cubes

    That might destroy the nutrients. It seems thayare made with tim hay & some alfalfa, under pressure. The alfis more moist & helps keep the cubes together. How muchpressure may be a well-kept secret.
