How much hay and litter do you go through

I use a 50lb bag of YN for both my rabbit and the cats. It lasts about a month. I buy small bags of hay for Truffles because I don't want it to get too old. It lasts about a month as well, depending on how quickly she eats it.

    2016 Cages You've Made

I know how to litter train thank you very much. Having her have access to an exercise pen 24/7 is just not going to happen now. We have cats and a dog in the house too. Her cage is plenty big for her. Giving her more than enough room to lay down and run around. I know you all have your ways of...

    Leash Training

That is awesome! I love seeing people's reactions to walking a rabbit haha. Truffles is pretty small so I don't think I would feel comfortable going on hikes with her, but we will definitely venture outside at some point.

    2016 Cages You've Made

All my rabbits have been on wire and I have never had a problem. But yes I let her out of her cage so she is not always on it.

    Leash Training

I am starting to introduce Truffles to a leash and harness. I thought I would share as we go along. I've done this with a couple of past rabbits and I think it is a great way to strengthen our bond. So far I have gotten her use to wearing something on her neck by putting a bandana on her (it's a...

    2016 Cages You've Made

This is Truffles's new cage. It has a second level that is solid, and a drop pan underneath. I might add dark plexiglass to the shaded corner so that she can have a hiding place if she needs it, though she only does that when she is mad at me.

    Hello!

No, she is not litter trained. There is a second level that is solid, it is not a Critter Nation cage, though. When I get my own place I will probably litter train her. I have been successful with past rabbits.

    Hello!

Hi! My name is Julia, I am 18 yrs old. I showed rabbits for 7 years, but now just have a pet rabbit, Truffles. She has the greatest personality and loves fruits and veggies. Truffles is a Mini Rex, and I forgot the name of her color:headsmack

    Truffles

Truffles is about 3 yrs old. I bought her at the state fair planning to train her in agility. When I stopped showing rabbits, she became a pet.
