Can entire male littermates live together okay?

I recently got 2 new Flemish Giant boys, roughly 12 weeks old now. I'm just wondering if it is absolutely necessary for me to have them desexed? Can entire male litter mates live together without fighting? The last two boys I had desexed seemed to get really spooked by the experience and I've...

What breed is my new addition?

Unexpectedly acquired a new rabbit today :o She's a rescue who needed somewhere to go, I just happened to have a suitable place for her. So I know nothing of her history. I'm assuming she's some kind of drawf breed, she's absolutely tiny.... her entire body is the size of my flemish giants...

    What age to spay females?

Got my first two bunnies the other day :) Two female Flemish giants, Alice and Effie. They are about 3.5 months old. I'm just wondering when is the best time to get them spayed? I'm also curious, does spaying impact the development of a dewlap at all?

    Pure flemish giants or not?

Picked up my first two bunnies the other day. They needed a home and I had just finished building my bunny enclosure so figured why not? :) They're super lovey. I was told they are Flemish Giants but I'd love some conformation of that. I'm not fussed what they are, but am definitely curious...

    Shop recommends bad food :(

So sad today I went into my local feed store to buy some dog food and ask what brands of rabbit food they stock. I don't even have rabbits yet (Soon hopefully :D ) but have done heaps of research into feeding. The lady reeled off a heap of different brands but kept coming back to one she called...

How big do flemish giant's actually get?

I've been fascinated by this breed for a while now and there seem to be a lot available in my area (both from breeders and rescues). When i google them I see pictures of rabbits the size of labradors, but do they really get that big? Wikipedia says they average around 6kg, which is about...

    Toys :)

Looking for ideas on toys for a rabbit to play with, both long lasting things (like plastic toys) as well as home made things they could chew and shred. Do rabbits like cat tunnels? I have one for my ferrets and it is a huge hit, thought maybe I could get another for my future bunnies :)

    Bedding options

I'm setting up a huge fully secure outdoor bunny area. I'm going to have a smaller area within it that is sheltered and fully fly screened for night time. Was just wondering what the best option is for bedding? The rabbits I had as a kid (I was around 6) used to sleep on hay... I honestly...

    Water bottle vs water bowl

This probably gets asked all the time but what is generally considered better for bunnies? I haven't got bunnies yet, in the process of building a big bunny enclosure at the moment :) I know ferrets drink a lot less if their only option is a bottle so a bowl is considered better for them...

    Lots of questions

Hi everyone I'm just in the process of researching if a rabbit would be a suitable pet for me or not. I grew up absolutely adoring rabbits, I had 2 as a kid and loved them, although I won't deny that they didn't have the best life. They lived in very small cages 24/7 and just had cheap...

New here - Lots of questions

Hi everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from Australia and have quite a menagerie of animals including dogs, cats, ferrets and chickens. I've always loved rabbits, I had 2 as a child, no idea what they were, first one as a brown/grey colour with lop ears, second one was said to be...
