    First step in bonding

How are they currently living? It helps if the buns can be in pens/cages that are next to each other so they can get used to having another bun in the room. The neutral area trick worked best for me. My friend also did the car trick-Put them in a big box/basket and drive around. They will get...

    Teenager bun...

Anyone else have a super-moody teenager bun? One minute she's binkying and letting me pet her and the next she won't let me get close and will refuse treats! Ugh. -Stressed bun-mom.

    Third bunny?

I got a third bunny last March. My first two buns bonded really quick so I thought this would be a breeze...I was very wrong. I had my third bun living in a separate cage next to the other two for at least six months. During that time I would take them to odd areas of my apartment where they...

They won't molt all the time but they will shed, like a dog, all year. I have three rabbits so I'm constantly vacuuming.

    Female mounting Female...

Thanks, MC :) I'm sorry they're no longer with you. You're probably right. She has been acting insane in general lately but at the same time it's pretty cute. Thanks for your input!

    Female mounting Female...

Poppy is almost six months and Charley is 4 and 1/2. They've always gotten along great and still, but Poppy has begun to try and mount her.

    Female mounting Female...

Poppy, my youngest, has recently taken to mounting Charlie, the oldest female. Should I be concerned? I never had any issues between Charlie and Harley (my male). I have a feeling it's just a dominance thing but thought I would throw it out there. Oh, and they are all fixed! Thanks!

    Best Brush for Grooming?

Thank you for all of your help! The bun that needs it the most is my harlequin mix. She has always had issues with molting. I feed her rolled oats to help, which it does, but combing her with my human comb just doesn't quite do the trick and I didn't want to get a comb/brush that would do more...

    Calming a rabbit down

I would recommend letting her find her own way out of the cage and sitting on the ground and petting her as opposed to picking her up. Their cage is their safe place. Let her get comfortable coming out on her own and she will remain calm...until she gets excited and goes nuts/binkys everywhere...

    Bonding my four rabbits!

YAY! I just went through this (but only with three) so I understand the struggle! It's so worth the trouble. Having a big pile of cuddled buns is priceless <3 :bunnyhug:

Do I really need to trim his nails?

If you can find someone to help you, it's a lot easier that way. Just hold them facing outward but right next your chest so they feel secure and let the other person trim quickly. It shouldn't take very long that way either!

Want to get second bunny, need advice

I also agree with Stevesmum. Take him to the shelter and see if he hits it off with any of the buns there!! Otherwise it's a long and bumpy road of bonding if they aren't too keen with each other from the get-go.

Bonding 2 neutered males- help, kind of urgent advice needed

I just got my third bunny to bond with the other couple and it took a few months. When they were finally tolerating each other outside of their cage in a neutral space (cuddling/cleaning each other) I went in an deep cleaned where their cages were, put down new rugs, got new litter boxes and did...

    Messy Bunny Tips?

I have finally bonded all three of my rabbits and they are doing great, but...the youngest one is unbelievably messy! The older two are great about not digging in their food bowl or tipping it over and eating their hay in one place. Now that the younger bun is around, she goes NUTS! Has...
