This might be a stupid question, but when you breed rabbits is it similar to cats/dogs in the way that they go into a heat and you have a small window of opportunity to get the doe pregnant?

I forgot to ask also, is there a change in the doe's temperament when she is bred? My Holland Lop became pretty temperamental when she was 6 months old. When I spayed her she was a "perfect" angel. Is it just dependant on the doe?

Unfortunately rabbits are such a different breed to cats and dogs. With my Savannah cat it is in the contract that if I am no longer able to care for her she must go back to the breeder. She was also spayed before coming home to prevent dishonest breeding. Its a shame the same can't be done...

She didn't wear her diapers all the time. Only when she came downstairs to play. When she played in her carpeted areas she went diaper free and was always supervised :) I also used diapers to put her in costumes :P She really was the most patient girl <3 Seeing all of your beautiful rabbits...
