Cat on couch, rabbit wants to check it out...bad idea?

I have two cats that are fairly laid back, but Pepper likes jumping right on top of them if they are on the couch. One of my cats just walks away, the other will just lay there and not move and ignore Pepper until she sticks her head under her chin for grooming. Then my cat will hiss and swat...

    Tired Buns!!!*

I've never actually seen my bunny sleeping. But she likes to stretch out and relax a lot. I've also covered her in blankets on colder days and she seems content with that too.

    Considering a mini rex?

I have a female mini-rex and she is awesome. I have had her for just over a year (since she was 8 weeks old). She has been litter trained since just a few weeks old. Her nails do grow quite long fairly rapidly. I usually clip them once every 6 weeks. My rabbit does not like to be picked up...

    Does anyone know...

I guess I kind of worded my question strangely. I have been investigating vets around that do the spay, and none of them that are "rabbit-savy" charge less than $500 for the surgery. Therefore, I wanted to know if I were to let Pepper have a litter or two, would that reduce her chances of...

How long did it take to you tame your rabbit (s)?

I got to see Pepper at the breeders at 3, 5 and 8 weeks old. I took her home at 10 weeks old. So she was very familiar with me by the time I took her home. She isn't a cuddler per say, but she lays on the couch beside me, and lets me pet her whenever I want. She tries to cuddle with my...

    Smelly Rabbits

Try using puppy training pads instead of towels. I find towels retain urine smell and it gets unpleasant really quickly. Since I started using the puppy training pads, I don't smell any urine at all. You can probably find them in the pet section of the dollar store. That's where I get mine.

    Dewlaps

I love Pepper's dewlap. It makes her look like she's prepared for winter with her own built in scarf. It looks comfy and warm. lol

    Does anyone know...

Does anyone know... If female buns have a higher or lower chance of getting ovarian/uterine cancer if they have had a litter or not?

    Greetings from Toront, Ontario!

Hi there, I have been checking out these forums for a while now, but never registered for some reason. So here I am. This is my introduction to Pepper, female mini rex extraordinaire!! She was born on April 1, 2012. Pepper is completely litter trained and comes when called. She is...
