Can't Litter Train My 2 Neutered & Spayed Bunnies

It's been 1 week since they were reintroduced. I've noticed it's mainly the boy who does random poo's & lots of them. I have moved one litter box to a different part of the room away from the open cage & I'll look to buy a few more litter trays to spread around the room. I fill our existing...

No they don't. There's 1 litter box & one cage that's open. Shall I just buy 2 new litter boxes?

Can't Litter Train My 2 Neutered & Spayed Bunnies

They weren't particularly good before. They were probably the same. Yeah it's quite a big litter box & they've also got a plastic cage which we leave the metal crate top off. So they've got plenty of places to poo & yet they choose the floor!! Literally they are scattered everywhere...

    shy bunny

Like moochyesh says, bunnies have different personalities just like people. Some bunnies don't mind being cuddled & picked up, others don't, and some will come to you when they are ready. Definitely spend time with your bunny on the floor & don't worry x

    Bonding Rabbits

It can take years or days to re-bond bunnies. I've had a similar issue with my two. We rebonded them every day in the bath for a few weeks & this actually worked. We slowly increased the space to the bathroom, then the bathroom and hall & now they're fine together in the living room. Your 2...

Can't Litter Train My 2 Neutered & Spayed Bunnies

Hiya, I have 2 house bunnies Layla(about 9 months) & Hamish (7 months). Both have been altered, and are rebonded after this (they fought and we had to seperate them until hormones settled.) They have no concept of "pooing" in their open cage & litter box-which are both located away from each...

    re-bonding buns

P.s they still "share" the cage and room. The female will be in the cage from 7am to 7pm and the male is in the cage the rest of the time. When the other bun is out the cage they are the same room and only separated via the cage.

    Buns fighting

3 weeks? That's a long time. As we only have 1 cage we are rotating who goes in it. So from 9-4 it's the female then from 4-10 ish it's the male. Then during the night they are put into deprecate rooms so they can be out the cage and play etc.... Is that ok? At the moment I don't have £50...
