    Pet Rabbit Groups on Facebook?

Does anyone know of any good Pet Rabbit Groups on FB? I'm trying to find one, but almost all of them are breeding groups. :/

    Neutering and "litterboxing"

The screen was a huge litter saver! I had four adult bunnies (All Larger Buns around 10lbs) using two litter boxes, and changed the actual litter every 10 days or so. I did dump the pebbles daily and any soiled hay, and then just mixed around the pine pellets so they could fully absorb the bunny...

Two pregnant rabbits in one pen?

They should be fine together, if they have enough room. I recommend at least 10 square feet per bun and adding plenty of tunnels and houses where they can hide. This will give them enough room to get away from each other, if need be. Good luck with your girls! :)

    Neutering and "litterboxing"

The price for a neuter would depend on your area and how experienced the vet is with rabbits. In my area it is about $90-$150 depending on the vet. Some areas I've heard people quoted $500+ for a neuter, it just depends on where you're located. As far as bedding goes, pine pellets are the best...

Available Brands of Wood Pellets and/or Crumble Products

I buy the Tractor Supply brand, they work really well and cost around $5 for 40lbs. I also made my own litter box screens (like these), to make it easier to sift the bunny pebbles from the bedding, so it lasts a lot longer.

    Just Built New Cage!!

That looks wonderful! :) How much did it cost to build, if you don't mind me asking? I'm currently looking for ideas, for building my new bun's pen. I agree with the other posters though, I would give the bunny a flat ramp. Your bunny could get his/her feet in it and get them stuck (and...

Phone Number for Small Pet Select

Does anyone have the phone number for Small Pet Select? I had a question, and submitted a contact forum, but I haven't heard back and it's been several days. So, I was just trying to find their phone number, so I could get an answer to my question. Thanks! -Hannah

    Cage flooring

Rabbits should only be kept on solid floors, the wire will give them Sore Hocks. I think most the people on here use tile for flooring, because it's super easy to clean and quite durable. I would stear clear of wood, it can not be fully disinfected, so it can harbor all sorts of bacteria.

    Massive Rabbit Seizure in Indiana

I guess we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this subject. Sorry for going a little overboard on the forum. I have a hard time putting my thoughts about this subject into words without getting upset. ;)

    Massive Rabbit Seizure in Indiana

I raised rabbits for five years, so I know what a typical rabbitry looks like. I got out because I could no longer stand how insane the "normal" practices were. If I were having health or money issues, I would greatly cut down on the number of animals I owned, and this is just common sense. In...

    Massive Rabbit Seizure in Indiana

A few days ago I was on Facebook looking at my newsfeed and saw a like to this article. :cry1: http://fox59.com/2013/06/11/nearly-400-rabbits-found-in-feces-riddled-garage/#axzz2VzkBRiVB Since reading it I haven't been able to stop thinking about them and what they've lived through this far...

    Fussy bunnies

1.5lbs is quite small for a 3month old ML. I would definitely give him some extra things like the ones I mentioned earlier, however I would not feed the junky type foods. At this point he needs good quality food, and should maybe cut down on exercise until he starts gaining weight. You want him...

    Fussy bunnies

Do you happen to know how much he weighs? This would greatly help me properly answer your question. If you dont, Do you have a bathroom scale? You can weigh Merlin by weighing yourself then weigh yourself while you are holding him, and subtract the difference. When I wanted to put extra weight...
