Is your rabbit neutered? If not, that's the problem. Mine litter trained within a couple weeks after getting spayed. I've been researching NIC cages as well and a lot of people use chloroplast for flooring. I've also seen plywood with tiles glued over it.

I don't know what binder clips are..maybe my husband knows. As for the grate, I don't know how I can secure it. Of course it has to be something that keeps her from getting it, but still allows me to take it out to clean the box.

Good news! Arwen is now litter trained! She's been using it pretty much since my last post. I'm so happy! I bought the grate stuff and I'm gonna put that in and hope she continues to use it. Thanks everyone for all the advice!
