Hi,

I just wanted to know if it matters what breed of rabbit you have for, well - Like, should a holland lop have the same diet as a mini rex?

(Yes, there would be different quantities because of size, but does the kind of food matter?
Thanks!

P.S. - I'm completely new to this so sorry for all the questions.

Ok, that's very helpful! Thanks.

In general, it doesn’t matter what the breed. There are a few exceptions...angora rabbits produce wool and so need more protein in their diet.

Thanks!

The questions are great! I’d rather you ask a billion and a half questions than go into rabbit ownership not knowing anything! To answer the question, it doesn’t generally matter what breed the rabbit is. Generally anything dark green is quite good (iceberg lettuce isn’t good though) and fruit should be used as a treat.

Thanks!
