I figured it was a dominance thing, but my mind always seems to go to the gutter. :P Its rather entertaining to watch. They've yet to do it today, but yesterday they were both going at it like CrAzY! haha

So for some unexplainable reason, Rosie just humped Gimili's head, but its not the first time she's done it. Why would she do that? I'm just curious.

Do rabbits really need pellet food?

Thanks for the info! i was definitely feeding too many pellets to them. :P I'm feeding them Kaytee Timothy Complete. Money is tough right now, so I'm trying to find ways in cutting the cost of my rabbits care without cutting what they need, if that makes sense. :P Thanks for all the help!

Do rabbits really need pellet food?

or can they do just fine on a diet of say, Timothey Hay, a little alfalfa, various greens, and even some clover and dandelions from the yard? I'm just wondering 'cause pellets are just so dang expensive and things are really tight right now financially. Thanks for your help! Marsha

    Question! Well, two, actually...

I ended up getting Sunseed Gazhette, or whatever its called. Its recycled newspaper stuff. I didn't get too much of it, just incase it didn't work out. I've realized that Rosie uses the litterbox, while Gimili kinda uses it... he'll need work.

elrohwen wrote: Thanks! Yes, I have a male and female. I got Gimili (my male dutch) about 3 weeks ago, and he was just a few weeks old (too young to tell gender). I do plan on getting them fixed very soon, cause I definitely don't want to wake up to a litter of kits! Besides, they're pet store...
