    Rabbit gastric disorder

Find a vet that does exotics aka rabbits. Only they can give you the best answer. The little bun might need critical care but only a vet can tell you. And gastro upset in rabbits can develop badly very quickly so a vet is necessary.

    Mirror

I have never heard of a mirror fooling a rabbit…and I echo what’s been said, in that if you have the space and resources for another rabbit you should get another one. However, if you truly can’t just be sure to be as social with your own rabbit as much as possible. Rabbits love being around us.

    rabbit speech

Diet for rabbit should consist mainly of fresh hay and access to water. Rabbits also should have greens in their diet, but should be introduced slowly to not upset their tummies. Lots of different kinds of lettuce, mustard greens, kale, parsley, cilantro, basil, are all great! they should be...

    Help on a rabbit diet?

The important thing with a rabbit diet is to slowly introduce new foods and to always have fresh hay available. Which seems to be what you’re doingThe more dense leafy greens like brussel sprouts or bok choy I would do more sparingly and opt for easier greens, like maybe parsley! I would...

Rabbit isn't eating food but does eat fruits?

It could be a tooth/mouth issue. My rabbit would slowly start eating softer things when he would have an issue. I’d get them to the vet to get them checked out. Also, unless your rabbits are in need of gaining weight, rabbits don’t need to eat pellets! Despite what they may try to tell us :)...

    Farewell BunBun

I’m so sorry for your loss. Bunnies are a great piece of our lives while we have them. Find some relief that you’re little guy isn’t in pain anymore.

Some broken nails and a broken heart

Try and lure him into a carrier with some greens and get those nails checked out by a rabbit friendly vet. Wanna make sure everything is good there. also try some calming music and creating lots of dark enclosed spaces, it’ll probably take the little guy awhile to adjust.

help with finding a suitable gas drops

Is asking for a vet recommendation not an option? Always the safest best.

My new buns won’t come out of hiding

I’m going to echo what’s already been said, the best way to get them used to you is to sit on the ground in a room they’re in. I wouldn’t even say the pen is necessary, just sit in the same room they’re hiding in. Also understand that they will need time to adjust, dogs can take up to several...

    Thumper Passed Away

Thank you for the advice. I opted not to do a necropsy so I hope that decision was the right one. His vet of 10 years will be back in the office on Monday so I’m hopeful she can give me some insight…I’m thinking some kind of heart attack or stroke just because it was so sudden.
