    Another Member of the Family?

Thanks for the advice. We did decide to foster little Munchkin, though; I couldn't resist! D: He is staying up in my room and seems to be doing well. However, you can hear sort of a snorting noise when he eats or grooms (not really like honking, though). He also has huge spurts of energy...

    Another Member of the Family?

Well, it is awhile later! Since the vet didn't really say either way if they could be kept together, but wasn't exactly encouraging...we decided that we wouldn't adopt the other bunny. ...but then we have been visiting him every week and bringing him food since then and have grown more...

    Another Member of the Family?

So...it looks like I may be on my way to adopting another bunny! I'm not sure what I was thinking! There was a bunny at our local shelter that wasn't adopted for almost the entire year. After Herbert having been neutered for several weeks now, I decided that I would just go have a look at...

    Herbert was Fixed

Thanks for the comments and the tips, everyone. On Wednesday, my Mom ended up taking Herbert to the vet (since there had been some swelling). It was our vet's partner and,I guess he couldn't handle Herbert properly to look there, so my mom lifted Herbert and the vet stretched his legs out...

    Herbert was Fixed

I wanted to update you that I took your advice and on Friday morning, Herbert was neutered! Well, sometimes I am feeling like I rather regret it when I see him looking rather poorly. The vet seemed to think things went quite well, but later I found out from my Mom (who had to pick Herbert up...

RESOLVED: Neutered male Dutch bunny - foster looking for home :)!

I keep creeping this page! Sawyer looks really lovely. :inlove: I wish I could adopt another bun, but wouldn't be able to afford one right now. I hope that you are able to find him a good home.

Ebony Needs to Be Rescued--B.C., Canada

I have seen the local SPCA promoting Ebony's adoption since October and really hope that someone can give her a forever home. I would love to adopt her myself, but I don't think I can afford another bun right now (plus, with Herbert waiting on his neutering, he would likely be quite mean to...

To Neuter or Not to Neuter?

Thanks for the advice, information, and humour! It is very appreciated. (Sorry I didn't reply sooner). I forgot to ask--will Herbert still make the little goose noises, run around me in circles, and run back and forth with his favourite toy only to present it at my feet? Are these purely...

To Neuter or Not to Neuter?

I have been thinking about getting my rabbit neutered for a long time. I feel rather torn about the decision and I was hoping that some of your experiences could help me. Some background on Herbert: he is young-ish (around 1 1/2) and generally healthy. He lives in our kitchen when we sleep...

    Introducing Herbert

Hi there, I have been lurking for awhile, so I thought I would join. I'm 27 and I have a 1 1/2-year-old bunny, named Herbert. Herbert is all black, with brown eyes. He is very proud of his long ears and shiny coat. I'm not sure what breed he is exactly, but he is very handsome. ;)
