Just wanted to second that I think a wait-and-see approach is fine advice, since bunny is eating and drinking and you are managing pain. Waiting sucks but it's not like you can't amputate later if it comes to that. My rabbit Ivan broke his leg pretty badly in 2007. Our vet tried splinting it...
