Housing bunnies outdoor- how do I know when it's too cold for them?

I kept rabbits outdoors for years and they always did fine in the cold as long as they stayed dry. My home at the time had a large covered patio so the buns would live there during the winter to keep from getting wet. My mom got worried if the temperature dropped below 15F, so sometimes we would...

Wanted everyone's personal opinion on bunny breed

Will second the mini lop suggestion. I owned two mini lops that were so sweet, but had their own little quirks as well. Both of them were registered as therapy animals and I brought them to hospitals, schools, and domestic violence shelters to be with the kids and everyone just adored them.

My rabbit doesn't seem to like me

Hello! I have two female house rabbits that are currently kept separately as they have not yet been spayed and bonding has so far been unsuccessful. I try to spend time playing with each of them individually every day. Onion is very sweet and seems to enjoy my company--she'll come over to me...

I have just started putting hay in their litterboxes as part of my research into training them, and I have noticed that...

    Litter Training Woes!

I think they both urinate in the box in their cage most of the time. I haven't seen either of them urinate in the other box, but I just put the other box out for them a few days ago, so I'm not expecting them to know to use it during playtime right away. I don't know if they're spayed, but I...

    Litter Training Woes!

Hi there! New forum member and house rabbit owner here. I have two sweet Netherland dwarfs, both female, named Sour Cream and Potato. They live in a cage most of the time because Potato isn't litterbox trained. Her previous owner said she was, but since bringing her home, she does her business...
