Sometimes people just tick me off...

I would definitely call the OSPCA again, and send the pictures. The fact that they had visited and nothing was done means, I should think, that you can start complaining to the higher ups.

    He's "in the mood."

General is about 8 months now, I guess. Wow, time flies! He keeps trying to do it...Gah!

    He's "in the mood."

LOL, Well thanks guys. I also wanted to add, in case people were wondering, that I do have money for emergency vet bills/visits, if I need that. However, that money is reserved FOR emergencies. And this...isn't really an emergency. It's pretty much just embarrassing.

    He's "in the mood."

Oh boy. So, has anyone else had their rabbit...try to "have fun" with their arm/leg? :grumpy: I am not pleased. I suppose this is a sign General needs to be neutered sooner, rather than later. I was hoping I would have some more time to save up, as I just moved away to go to school, and am now...

    Dogs and Rabbits

I trust my dog with my rabbit, but only to a point. I know he wouldn't intentionally hurt him if they were just hanging around together (usually what happens anyways is that my dog gets jealous, and just tries to climb up onto my lap for snuggles). However, my dog is an 80 pound border collie...

    Rant

People are absolutely disgusting. That's terrible. :( One other thing I want to point out, though, is that goldfish aren't a beginner pet at all, and suggesting them as a low-maintenance pet isn't a good idea. Just FYI. :) Fishkeeping is one of my hobbies, and I'm full of info if you'd like it.

My rabbit is just not nice!

I think that part of the problem with biting could be from your own fear, also. ALL animals can sense when people are afraid, and it makes them nervous. I know that General bit my sister, because she was nervous while holding him. He's never bitten anyone but her, because she's afraid of him!

Is your bunny this friendly/demanding of attention?

General has his cage downstairs, but when I take him out, and am doing other things, he is such an attention hog! He'll push the dog's face away and hop on my lap if he wants to be held, or put his paws up on my leg and beg to be picked up. Adorable! Your boy is soooo cute. I love how...

    Craisens!!!

General goes crazy for Craisins, and banana chips. :D Haven't found any apple chips yet, but that'll be his next dried treat. He loves fresh stuff the most, though! Broccoli, and small pieces of fruit and veg (apple, banana, carrot, celery, pear, mostly.) He also gets cantalope, honeydew...

    Just doesnt feel right

To be honest, I would have gone with a Syrian hamster. I have never had any problems with them once they were properly socialized. All of mine were sweet, loving little cuddle bugs that loved to be held, and pampered. My one boy would sleep curled up in my pocket, or on my lap. He was like a...

do you perfer a dish or bottle

General has a bottle in his cage, and a bowl in my room. He doesn't seem to prefer one or the other, and he's never had a problem with the water bottle. He also gets alot of moisture from his greens.

    Abandoned rabbit, help!?

To be quite honest, I don't know why you haven't contacted the SPCA or a rescue yet. I live in Ontario too, and we're pretty darn near the freezing point. I wouldn't let my rabbit outside at all, now. We don't even want the cats going out! What you need to understand is that if you cannot...

    Develop a relationship with bunny?

When I got my General, he was already used to being handled (the store handles all of their small animals, as well as the reptiles.), and he has never minded being picked up, as long as you hold him correctly. He actually likes it, and begs to be picked up just like my neighbour's dog. :) Such a...

Is This a Good, Safe Solution? (Grooming Question)

One thing I also do when I'm grooming is run one of the pet hair rollers over him. Just to help get some excess fur off. But I am having alot of trouble with him right now. :grumpy: It is not even cool. Even though he gets brushed every day, he is still getting knots and tangles. They never get...

    Abandoned rabbit, help!?

Have you called a shelter about picking Cinibun and the other bunny up...? I'm in Ontario also, and I know that the temperature has been dropping pretty quickly here. I've been thinking about this, and I can definitely try and help you find a shelter if you need someone to help you..
