I've been trying to get face time with them in the last few days. The buck is getting better. He's still scared of his own shadow but he is starting to warm up to me. ALOT LESS thumping coming from him.
I haven't really got anywhere with the doe. She still backs up in the same corner and grunts...
As my wife puts it... I'm a meat and potatoes type of guy. Nothing says dinner to me like a large rare steak. But that's my opinion. Were all entitled to our own.
My wife on the other hand is much happier with a Squash casserole for dinner. Shes not against meat just prefers veggies over it...
They were out in a barn when I bought them and there in the same type of environment now. I'm going to keep working with them and hopefully build a bond/trust soon. Kill em with kindness.

All 3 kits are out of the nest box and running all over the cage now! I tried to sex them today. Its really hard to tell with every thing being so little.... My best guess is that the runt is a buck and the other two are does.

Here's some pics of a hutch I just finished building. I used a bunch of old rough sawed lumber I had laying around and an old dog kennel. I still need to put on the EPDM roof and make a poo tray. I have to stay with using hutches until my rabbitry is finished in the spring. and before you ask...
