I was actually going to make an example with some people preferring lop ears to straight ears! I completely agree though - dewlap or no dewlap - Pepper is still my baby :)

I'm foreign to the world of dewlaps as I have never owned a bun with one ---- when you say " their dewlaps start showing" - does this mean they change in size throughout their lifetimes or do you mean that with regards to a doe maturing and 'forming' one? Ahhhh! So much to learn about dewlaps...

PS... I totally agree with fuzz16 and kahlin... it'll just be "extra bunny" to love! She doesn't compare to any of my past buns - in the short time I've had her, I've never had a greater bond with any past pet rabbits. She is definitely a keeper
