Agreed. I wont do it myself. I contacted my vet, sent him this picture and he said it happens to rabbits often and that the teeth should grow back. But he recommended me to come and do the xray if the roots are okey.

It sounds horrible to use the nail clippers Rabbits don’t have nerves in teeth?

Good evening everybody, my bunny broke his front teeth. He is still active the whole day, pooping but not eating much. Any suggestions?

In 24h max 100g of pellets. Its hard for me to check his weight, but he should be from 1,5 upto 2kg. I stayed very close to him today listening to the sound, but it does not seem like coming from his stomach, but rather from throat (if that is possible)..

All treats removed now for 2 days. Less veggies and smaller amount of pellets. There was no soft poop today yet, and sounds only once or twice. But he seems to me hungry. What if he looses weight? Should he eat only pellets and hay?

Roman lettuce and he loves cabbage also. In the morning I found soft poop, 3-4 pieces.

Daily he gets fresh greens as parsley or lettuce, small bowl of pellets and alpine meadow hay (as I run out of Timothy hay and local stores does not sell Timothy hay). Twice a week I give him a treat as a slice of apple, small carrot or bannana.
