    Litter training older rabbit

I have two lionheads bonded one male and one female. Monty the male(about 5) who I had first was more or less litter trained except for the occasional incident outside his cage. Jessica the female(about 3) seems to go wherever she wants. It makes cleaning the cage (C&C cage) a much longer task...

    New cage OR play pen???

I currently have a cage setup connected to a x-pen so they can go in and out as they please. It gives them a little more room. However I am in the process of building a NIC cage that will be 3 X 4 panels and 3 high as i'm going to build a large some shelving to hop up to.

    Rabbit Sitters

Having someone stop by like that would be fine. We usually take the rabbits over to my inlaws. Though if we go away together I've also just had friends come over and feed\check in on them.

    hay coloring?

The rabbits seem to know if it isn't good. I had a (new)bag of hay the same kind they always eat but they would have nothing to do with it. I switched it out for another new bag and they went right at it.

Should I get my bunny a FRIEND!?!

If you decide you want to be sure to let us know how it goes and show off pics of Marley's new buddy.

    Ok now what???

If you're going to use carpet the lower the pile(how fluffy it is) the less they seem to be interested in chewing it. You certainly don't want towel or carpet in panda's digestive track if you can avoid it.

    Nuts about Nuts

While nuts are fatty and certainly shouldn't be given as a standard food. They are OK as an occasional treat. Most pet stores sell treats branded for rabbits with nuts and seeds in them. Monty and Jessica thoroughly enjoy them but I limit how often I will give them to them.

    Marley & Me <3

Any time. Here is a great rabbit info site that has info on bonding. It says they should be spayed or neutered first though Jessica isn't. But I recently learned here that I need to get it done since not doing so increases her chances of get reproductive cancers by 80%! Doing so also helps with...

    Hello From California

Both your rabbits are adorable. Though I'm partial to Guiness as he reminds me of Monty when he was younger but with less of a mane.
