They didn't say but when I queried it they said that the manufacturer only supply pet bedding so wouldn't use anything harmful to them 🤦🏻‍♀️ hope they're right and its heart wood 🤦🏻‍♀️

That's what I thought but the supplier is saying it's just the heart of the wood and that it's perfectly safe :/
