    Baby Bunny AL (RESOLVED)

Hey Guys! I did find a home for the baby bunny. I was so sad to have to give him away, but my landlord's brother wanted a rabbit and has the means to take him to a vet if he needs it. So, he has a good home and everything worked out! Thanks for your advice everyone!

    Baby Bunny AL (RESOLVED)

I'm in Auburn, AL. I can travel to Atlanta too though, or Mobile. Or anywhere not too far from Auburn. Update: I asked the pet store owner and he said this bunny definitely doesn't have torticollis. He's had a lot of experience with bunnies so I am inclined to trust him, but whoever takes the...

    Baby Bunny AL (RESOLVED)

Hey guys, I recently rescued a baby bunny from a pet store where he was going to be snake food. He (I'm just guessing on the gender but we named him Capt. Hook so he's a boy) is absolutely the sweetest thing (he just hopped up onto my lap to lick my hand) and is very small. He was a rescue...

    Torticollis/Head Tilt/Wry Neck ?

Thanks Pipp! That's a great idea, I'll try to work something out with a rescue :) Also, thanks for the breed id. It's nice to know what kind of bunny he is. Before this my only answer to what kind of bunny he is would be "small...and cute..." XD

    Birth Defect?

I know! That was my reaction exactly and why I couldn't let him get eaten by a python! Hopefully I'll find someone or a rescue who can take care of him. Thanks for all your help everyone! Also, if you know of anyone who would take this bunny please let me know. I'm in Auburn, Alabama.

    Torticollis/Head Tilt/Wry Neck ?

Thanks guys, here are some pictures. Sorry for the quality, they're from a camera phone. Here he is from the back. Not the best picture but you can see the tilt of his ears. Here he is from the front. and here he is being adorable drinking some water after hopping around. It looks like...

    Torticollis/Head Tilt/Wry Neck ?

Hey Guys, some of you may have seen where I've posted this in the introductions and rabbitry. If so, I'm sorry I'm just looking for information. I just earlier this week rescued a baby bunny from a pet store where he was either going to be snake food or free to anyone. This was because, unlike...

    Birth Defect?

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to look for a rabbit rescue near me. I don't have the funds to take him to a vet (broke college student). Does anyone have any recommendations for a rescue near Auburn Alabama, or Atlanta? Thanks!

    Birth Defect?

Alright, here's a pic of the bunny from behind. It's hard to get a picture of him keeping still, but you can see from the angle of his ears how tilted his head is. And here's another from the front and just for kicks here he is trying to drink my roomates glass of water

    Birth Defect?

Hello! I just rescued a baby bunny from a local pet store. He (I'm saying "he" but I haven o idea of his gender) couldn't be sold because he has a twisted neck which the pet store owner said was a birth defect. Either he was going to have to be given away free or he would be snake food. So, of...

    Brand New Baby Bunny

Thanks guys! The more I read about it, the less I think this is torticollis/head tilt/wry neck. He has absolutely no vertigo or imbalance or problems standing, running around, and playing like he's having the time of his life. He is currently having fun running off the carpet in my living room...

    Brand New Baby Bunny

I got a rescue bunny from a local pet store. He's adorable, black and white spotted and tiny. The reason he was a rescue is because he has a tilted neck/head. The owner said he was born this way and that it was a birth defect. He couldn't sell him so unless I took him he would be snake food...
