Update: sorry my mom rabbit was probably just stressed with the babies getting all the food because they are at that age of eating everything. She’s eating now but I still help with finding the genders of the babies!
I have two concerns for today, my mom rabbit hasn’t eaten anything. No pellets or fresh hay and she looks rlly tired and just lays around I’m worried about her. The babies are about to be 8 weeks old I don’t know how to tell the genders between all the babies. Any advice would help. Thank you!
When should baby rabbits stop nursing? My baby rabbits are about 5 weeks old right now and I still can’t identify their genders so I’m not sure when to separate them yet. Please let me know!
Okay thank you I appreciate it! Do you know how I can tell the genders of the baby rabbits? I know I have to separate them at some point and I’m not sure how to check
Okay thank you all! I just feel terrible and a lot of anger towards my mom because I don’t want to do that to the rabbits. I will look around and see about rescue areas and see if they can take them in.
I’m 15 and my two rabbits had babies there’s around 6-7, both my mom and her ex boyfriend are suggesting I set them out into the wild. I of course don’t want to do that because I want to take care of them. I want to find them a home. Is finding them a home better for them? Or will they be better...
Okay thank you! I appreciate it. Do you think I should take the doe and buck out one at time? So they can still roam around and run around? Or should I leave the doe in her cage?
I have called many clinics and hospitals here in my area and some are just really expensive or don’t do anything with rabbits. I have found one place I just have to talk to my mom about it to check with her!
Here’s the food pellets I use or that my mom bought. The protein (min) percentage is 12% and the calcium (max) is 0.8% and the (min) is 0.3%.
If the brand needs to be changed it can, I have enough money for that.
Anything that needs to be changed can be. the cage also. It’s what my mom could find once she bought them. The doe is eating and the nest is warm.
To my knowledge the doe and buck are 5 months old. She doesn’t appear to be in any pain at all and is eating very good. But still please let me know...

He wasn’t with her no I’ve separated them and I plan on getting only him neutered. Is there a possibility the first litter might die because the doe and buck could’ve been related? Can my doe die?
I want to know because I feel like it’s somewhat my fault because I didn’t keep them away as...
