    Bonded pairs and success rate?

I bought a book at the rabbit society store here in San Diego, and it says to put them in there travel cage, strap them in the car snuggly and then drive a little wreck less in an empty parking lot. I know!! Sounds crazy right? I will take a picture of the page for you :) They say if you...

    tell me about your home

Ello!! My mom and dad are new to this whole "bunny" thing. So when they brought me home the first time they put me in this square wire thing with some blankets on the floor. I guess it's called an x-pen but who really knows! Dad's house is all hardwood, and I haven't come around to liking it...

    Poop in the yard...never dissociate?

That's really odd.... I have heard it is supposed to be the best free fertilizer ever!! It should break up though. When I scoop out poop from my litter box, they are very soft.... I think I am going to put some poop in my yard tonight and get back to you :D

What to feed babies vs mama

My bunny had a litter about three weeks ago. I read that they will start venturing out of the box and nibbling on hay. Are they allowed to nibble on pellets too? I have Pearle on alfalfa pellets because she is under a year (and gave birth) but I know at a year your supposed to switch to...

    Don't feed rabbits lettuce?

Woahlookatme, Thank you for clarifying. I was sort of confused! I buy my hay by the bale at my local feed store, 110 lb for $25. So far I have barley gone through a flake, but that's just one bun. I cannot imagine 20! How crazy, and lucky! But I notice the hay at the pet store is extremely...

    Don't feed rabbits lettuce?

You don't free feed hay to your buns? Why is that? You also feed then nothing at all on some days? I'm a new bunny owner and did extensive (I thought?) research on the absolute best care for my bunny to live the fullest happiest life and everything said free feed unlimited hay. Am I doing...

I'm sure this has been asked before, but....

I hate to say it, but maybe you should restrict his area until he gets it right? Is it possible to x-pen him up in front of the door with the litter boxe(s) and until he starts using them exclusively he can't have anymore run of the house Do you put hay in all of his litter boxes?

    Hello from San Diego!

Hello Everyone! My name is Kristina, I am 23 and I live in sunny San Diego, CA! [Although it currently isn't very sunny... :(] I have two min pin's and two terrier mixes, and then Pearle (the bun!) I am the proud owner of a 9 month old [?] lop whom I love to death! My boyfriend and I...

    Wood shavings

I used CareFresh for awhile, but it got costly and Pearle (my white bun) started turning brown from sitting in her box :( After a lot of research, I found that ExquisiCat Naturals Fragrance Free Pine Cat Litter works really well. It isn't actually a litter, it is a pellet. For $16 I get a 40 lb...
