You are right to be cautious, my advice would be to go and visit the bunnies first before you make any big decisions, that way you will be able to sex them yourself. Boys are quite obviously boys if they arent desexed :)

My suggestion for cage floors are Coir mats :) Ive been using them for about a year now, and have gone through.....3 I think, theyre about AU$5 each. My bunny has one that shes had since the begining that she hasnt eaten lol the others get digged at/chewed and need replacing every so often :)...

What breed of rabbit/s do you have? It doesnt look very tall....remember, they must be able to stand on their hind legs in their cage :)
