I have 12x 24 for Jr holes and really like them . Their the perfect size for the 2 jrs we currentlly have & they allow me more cages in the same space for growing out jrs.

Your doe should be pretty much free fed by this point . Which would explain the hip bones & possible lack of milk . If she dosent have enough nutrients she certainlly cant be supplying the babies with what they need.

I say go for it . I've had older does do fine having there first litter the hardest part was getting them bred . And I do know how hard chin mini rex are to find I drove 13 hours one way to get mine . So go for it . Fallon
