    My Rabbit is Pooping-ALOT

I am still living with 5 baby bunnies from a litter of 10. They poop a LOT, too. Personally, I feel a diet should be high in hay & veggies and limited to no pellets. I guarantee that you'll see a decrease in water consumption if you up the veggies. I started my guys off very young and so they do...

I'm starting to think rabbits like being hugged and handled.

I agree with others, it's varies greatly from rabbit to rabbit. My two lops that I handled from the day they were born now LOVE attention and seem to enjoy being held so long as they're in the mood. They used to kick and fight when they were younger, but once they got to be about 2.5 months...

    Elevated liver values

He seems normal today. I don't have any of the snack shacks.. I read the ingredients when considering them for my rats and felt the same way.. can't be healthy. I don't know of anything in the environment that could cause problems since they haven't really chewed anything.. hopefully just a fluke.

    Elevated liver values

I use only pelleted paper litters, never pine, cedar, or any other wood shavings. He wasn't on any medications and didn't have any stressful events (save the car ride) before the blood screen. As far as toxins.. they don't really chew anything, but I'd think anything he had access to, so would...

    Bunny Tongues

Not my bunny.. but he's a cousin of my babies who was at the rescue while I was petsitting. He was obsessed with licking everything, so cute. (He was adopted very quickly and is happy in his new home now)

    Elevated liver values

Iggy Mini lop D.O.B. 7/23/09 (4 months old) History: Mother of litter surrendered with 7 other buns to a local shelter. I fostered this litter, so I've had Iggs since the day he was born. Litter of 10. Several "runts" in the litter. For Iggy (and several other babies) I had to hold the mom...

    She hates my boyfriend

Is she spayed? Her chasing after you and your boyfriend sounds territorial. Spaying usually decreases this, but some buns are just super territorial regardless. My rabbit hated to be picked up, too, but I wanted her to learn to tolerate it so it wouldn't be such an issue (because eventually...

    Tricks

There are more videos of him on my Youtube page, but these ones are cute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFksEI0a14o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G03HIt7CQA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agzZVNvWVi0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEzoHi6_iG0

    Tricks

oh, ha (forgot he made an appearance)... That's Paxton, a Patagonian Cavy (or "Mara"). Third largest rodent (depending on rating by weight vs. height). They're related to guinea pigs... He was Toot's first friend, but unfortunately he recently passed away. He came from a horrible place and...

    Tricks

I saw a really cute video of a bunny named Simon walking upright: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BBKLsnL11s Impressed, I decided to try to train Iggy, my 3 month old lop. Here's day two of training (and me fiddling with the camera to try and get a good shot, craisin in the other hand, which...

    3 Mini Lops for adoption

Right now there are two families who MAY be interested in the two tri-colors, but Bosky is still available for sure (and the others are not definite yet). All the boys are still living together without problems, so I do think that they would be able to bond well with another neutered male after...

    Do they ever Sleep?!

I never usually see my bunnies sleeping, but I had a rabbit when I was younger who would sleep in my lap, flopped over on his back. Funny sleeping bunny videos: this one on his back- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SN7ZSETZfYg this one hanging over a shelf-...

    A few diet questions

I should have specified, I do limit the high calcium veggies just for my adult rabbit (and Gpig), but I give the younger rabbits plenty.

    Rabbit tricks?

I never put any effort into teaching "tricks" to my rabbits.. but Toot is a great door opener: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69ndMyIJsz8 And she rings her bell if you ask her to, I don't have the video uploaded yet... Wally would come when he was called.

    A few diet questions

    1. Bell peppers: Are the seeds & stem edible? I always cut them out and pull out the fleshy inner ridges.. but is that necessary or am I wasting food that they could be eating? 2. Hay: I recently purchased 2 bales of hay from a feed store. They told me it was a first cut Timothy, Brome...
