If the tick is a regular dogtick... then it is fine to just pull it... as long as you try and get ahold of the tick as close to the skin as possible. I havebetween three and four dogs at my house at one time that all play inthe grasses, creeks, neighbors cow pastures, etc and come into thehouse...
