Neuter at 4 or 5 months?

We neutered ours at 4 mths. We buy these for him and it keeps him from chewing the furniture for the most part. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004UMMXDG/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

which fruits and veggies to feed mini lop

We give our bun a small slice of apple or banana in the morning. Then anything else is herbs. He gets a bowl of greens at night. Its usually cilantro, that's his favorite. He's a little picky..he likes parsley, but its usually just cilantro.

How do you get a rabbit to like getting picked up?

My bun is 10mths old and he still dislikes it quite a bit. He boxes, grunts, and thumps as soon as I put him down. I only pick him up if I have to.

    cat and rabbits?

I have a cat and a rabbit. Jack is an indoor outdoor cat. Oliver is a bigger bunny and he loves that cat, but the cat doesn't really know how to be gentle. He wants to play but gets rough. We never leave them alone together. I worry the cat will swat his eyes and scratch them. They are...

    Post-Neutering Behavior

I didn't really do much with my boy after he was neutered. He just laid low in his cage for a few days. I made sure he wasn't licking or bugging himself to much. With in a day he perked up and by day 3 he was back to normal. He ate fine and didn't seem to affected by it all.

    Litter box frustrations

We got our boy around 9 weeks old. He was ok, but we never let him roam to far from his box because he like to pee if he had to much freedom. Once he was fixed (at 4mths) it was like night and day. I tried not to expect to much until he was fixed.

    Pellet/Hay Debates

My boy eats oxbow everything...I've tried other brands of hay but he hates them all. He's very picky.

Need Help Getting Through "Teenage" Months!

I fixed my boy at 4mths...that took care of the the litter box issues. He still poops a little outside the box, but that's normal. He pees in his box 100% of the time.

    Oliver bun bun

Oliver was born December 21st, 2013. He is a lovely boy who has become and wonderful addition to our family. He is a free roaming house bunny who loves our dog and cat. He waits patiently every morning for fruit and every night he circles my feet waiting for his greens. He is super happy and...

    Greens

I started feeding my bun greens around 12 weeks. I have stuck with herbs mostly. He's proven to be a fussy bunny. He loves cilantro so that's what he gets most of the time.. He also gets parsley, leaf lettuce, basil....He's had dill and watercress, but he doesn't like either of those. I...

    Treats

We just give fruit as treats. Ours loves apples, grapes, cherries, bananas....He only gets a small piece in the morning. He waits for it when I let him out. At night he gets a bowl of greens/herbs. I've never bought store treats..I figure fresh is better then anything processed.
