    Worried about my bun

I'm not sure whether my local vet is very good with rabbits... not sure how to find out and i checked the list of rabbit savvy vets in england and couldn't see any particularly close to me.

    Worried about my bun

Great, thanks for the replies and that thread you posted really puts me at ease. I can't get her spayed for another month and a half i think (because she's only 4.5 months old and i heard girls have to be over 6). Thank you very much, i was very worried.

    Worried about my bun

Over the last few weeks my rabbit's behaviour has changed almost completely, she must be about 4-5 months old now (can't remember exactly but had her since birth). She started making odd noises (almost like growling) when taking her out of her hutch and making noises like she was distressed (now...

    sexual maturity for my bun

Thank you so much for all the responses! I checked through the list of good vets, sadly there aren't any that close to me, but would perhaps be worth travelling the extra mile to make sure. sexual maturity for my bun

I don't know if they're used to treating rabbits to be honest, they gave us some poor advice about our baby rabbits, so i have my doubts about them really. sexual maturity for my bun

Well from what i can see, (s)he seems to have a slit, which is what made me think it was a girl. The vets seemed confused by how... pointy it was but it's definitely no donut.

    sexual maturity for my bun

I just took Toffee to the vets quickly and the results were a bit inconclusive, 1 vet and 1 nurse thought it was a girl and 1 other nurse thought it was a boy. So we're still leaning towards a girl, i plan to get her 'fixed' whatever happens though and was wondering, at what age are vets willing...

    sexual maturity for my bun

I have 9 week old bun (Toffee) but we're unsure of what sex he or she is, we were told by a friend that it was probably a boy but now after more inspection i think that it may be a girl. While searching for websites on how to sex young rabbits i read lots of information about bucks being better...
