    Needy bunny

She will be spayed in about a month or so, I'm still deciding whether to have her taken to Dr Rawlings or a shelter, I had sent an email to Heartland Rabbit Rescue to see if they did spays and neuters or if they know of shelters that would in OK but I haven't gotten a reply.

Oh my, that must be rough to deal with, does she hurt you when she tries to hurt you?

    Needy bunny

I'm not sure if Clem is being needy or has just taken a bigger liken to me but after going through puberty she's become more needy and jealous with me. When the lionhead gets near me to chin or present for some love she runs over here and grunts, or if I'm on my phone on the floor she yanks...

    Lop digging out litter.

This causes another problem. She hates bottles for water and she bites and shakes them making them drip, but if she uses a bowl she gets litter in it and I have to clean it every hour. I've tried all the bottles we have and they're either too big or drip too much

    Lop digging out litter.

I was wondering if it may have been triggered by the other rabbit in the room because I heard this behavior may be a way to reclaim territory, it's an unneutered male and they do not enjoy it when one is out for exercise and gets triggered by binkies, almost seems like "if I can't have fun you...

    Lop digging out litter.

I will give the wood pellets a try, and here is a picture of the litterbox to her size + mess. -_- Now I would get a bigger litterbox but her cage is a bit small for an upgrade, so I plan on moving her to my room after her spay with a storage grid cage.

    Lop digging out litter.

For a few days now Clem has been digging out her litterbox, sometimes even right after I clean it out. I use shavings or carefresh with hay on top and around the sides, it's a ferret litterbox but she's never had any problems with it before. It doesn't stop at digging out litter, she was...

Male grunting and trying to box female?

I'm going to Tulsa this weekend so I'll look for shelters and vets that do it for a good price, if you know of one already please let me know because I want to get it done as soon as possible. I already have planned to keep them away from each other and move mine to my room as soon as she's spayed.

Male grunting and trying to box female?

I understand, and yes I knew about that, the male would annoy the female and a fight would break out, and thanks on that tip, if he does keep showing aggression like that towards another female then we won't use him.

Male grunting and trying to box female?

The female has plans for being spayed, I plan to check out one of the vets listed in Tulsa if she still works, the one that does them for $45 since I'm on a college student budget, but the male will be bred, and man bunnies can sure be super mean. Thanks for the answers. :)

Not really, I plan on having the lop spayed but the male lionhead will be for breeding, although I'm starting to doubt if he is a she

Male grunting and trying to box female?

Forgive me for posting a lot lately but I want to learn a lot for my rabbits. Previously we thought the he was a she, and I think we're pretty sure the lop is a female. What caught my attention is that ever since they've been separated they've been at each other's throat when one is out...

    Wood for outdoor cage

I forgot to add a crucial problem, now our neighborhood has a lot of dogs, I understand that rabbits get frightened easily and can die of a heart attack, especially with thunderstorms, although during these I would bring him indoors. Now for the dogs barking would he be fine as long as he has a...

    Wood for outdoor cage

Wow that's a nice hutch, I would've done something like that but we recently sprayed our yard with tick treatment and wouldn't want it to get sick. I'll use treated in that case. Now he is a teenage rabbit in his prime so what flooring is recommend for a raised hutch? He does use his litterbox...
