I used coroplast. Although as theothers mentioned, you may want to add something that doesn'tslide. Maybe a square of rug on top so they have a place tosit that they can't slide. You can get coroplast from localstores or gas stations that are throwing out their soda signs made outof coroplast...
I made mine myself to travel to thevet. My son also uses one back and forth 2 1/2 hr. drive tocollege. You could also make a foldable playgate to take.
I use binder clips to keep my doorshut. I use two per door just to be safe. And Iagree with Susan you need to reinforce it with cableties.
I got some of my coroplast from a local grocery store. Theywere soda signs. Check out your local gas stationtoo. If you look outside the storesand see...
Those videos were great! I love yourrabbits. Wish we had green grass now here in Maine. They seemed so happy running around there. I am going to haveto build a fence for my yard. Maybe I can let them run aroundmy fenced in pool area if I block all the holes. I just wouldworry if they got loose.
I'm so glad she made it! I know howscary it can be waiting. My girls are on day 2 since theirsurgery. Each bunny recovers differently I guess. Ilove that picture of Madilyn, she absolutely adorable.
I called the vet about Lily. She saidit was normal for her to be slower in her recovery. Lily hada larger uterus and had given birth before. She did eat acracker this afternoon. Edwina kept stealing it from herthough. So I had to give her another one. She isdefinately turning into her old self...
Yes, I've seen that vet van around. Myrabbits are just pets. I tried to raise them and discovered Ifell in love too easy. I gave 2 of Lily's babies away thenfelt so guilty and ended up keeping the rest. That is why Ihad them fixed. I still need to get Phillip nuetured when Ican afford it.
Today Edwina is moving around a bit.She left the cage and hopped into her room for about 2 minutes thenwent back to her cage. She is eatting hay and ate a littleapple and grape last nightand one blueberry thenmorning.
Lily is still just sitting there. I gave her a grape lastnight. She ignored...
She is a adorable!! I never knew therewas a lop rabbitry so close by. I'm just across thebridgefrom you. Just curious, what vet do youuse? I had both my girls spayed today. They went toCoastal Veterinary Care in Wiscassett.
They survived the spays. I picked themup at 2:30. (surgery was sometime after 8 am.) Theyhave hardly moved since they got home.Edwina left the travelcage and went to her cage and went to her favorite sleepingspot. Lily sat in the travel cage inside her litter box foranother 2 hrs. Finally I made...
I got some of my coroplast from the local store. The pepsi signs are made of it. Or check a gas station. Ask if you can have any old signs. You don't want to spend too much on it because they chew it.Those lovely sides you dream of kind of disapear.
I am going to call them back and tomorrow andask about self disolving stitches. I did talk to two peopleat my work today. They are the ones that recommended theplace. One had two rabbits done there, male andfemale. And the other had several done there. Bothsaid they had staples. Both seemed happy...
