How to get a bunny into his harness?

Here he is! He did so well the first time today, that I put it on again this afternoon, and we went outside! He loved it! He explored my overgrown front yard (sorry landlord...I promise I'll mow this weekend... ), nibbled on some grass, and in this picture he is munching on his very...

How to get a bunny into his harness?

Thank you all SO MUCH! I bought Elmo a new harness today (this one...the 9"-14" cat sized one) and got him into it without ANY struggle at all. He didn't seem to mind it too much...shook himself once or twice, and just went about his bunny business. I only left it on for a few minutes, and gave...

How to get a bunny into his harness?

Oooh, that's a great idea! I'll check out the dollar store next time I'm out. I did try one of the mesh vest-type harnesses (first one I got) and ended up returning it right away. Elmo was NOT appreciative of it snapping underneath him, lol. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas!

Cat trees for a climbing bunny?

Thanks for the responses so far! Those are some really great resources! :) Unfortunately, many of those are out of my price range (especially with shipping), but I think I'm getting some ideas of what to be on the lookout for! I might cave in and splurge on the Maze Haven though...

Cat trees for a climbing bunny?

My little Elmo has discovered the art of jumping and climbing on things. He LOVES to be at a higher level (low shelves of my bookcase, the couch, the back of the couch, the window ledge he's not allowed on, the top of his pet carrier, etc...) I think he likes being closer to people-level. Or he...

How to get a bunny into his harness?

Ahhh. That double buckled harness might do the trick. :) I have this one: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3951263 and find it so hard to get him and adjusted! I'll keep working on getting him used to the concept of the harness while I try and find a better...

How to get a bunny into his harness?

I recently got a harness for my 9 month old Holland Lop, in hopes that he can come hang out with me outside while I work in the garden, learn how to go to for short walks, and hopefully to eventually do some agility. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to really get him INTO the harness. It's a...

    Toys

My boy's favorite toy is a paper bag on its side, filled with crumpled paper. He'll dig in it, eat it, removed the paper, put the paper back, and just hang out in it all day. He loves it!

    Toxic Houseplants

Thanks! I guess I'll be hanging the hoya out of bunny-reach as soon as I get a wall-mounting hook, and trying to figure out where to move my other plants (for their own safety!). I do have some pots of herbs and lettuce planted for Elmo, once they fill in a bit, I'll try bringing them...

    Toxic Houseplants

Elmo has very recently discovered the joy of jumping and climbing on things, and I have very recently discovered that my large collection of houseplants are no longer safe from sharp little bunny teeth. I've spent all day online checking and double checking various toxic and safe plant lists...

    Teenage Mutant Ninja...Bunny?

A week and a half post neuter, and my little boy is back to being sweet! Only one spraying incident a few days after the procedure, and none since. No more humping, no more biting (except for chewing cords and wires, of course). I'm hoping he'll be more snuggly as well now. (Well, he was...

    Teenage Mutant Ninja...Bunny?

Well I think bunny just answered part of my question: he just attempted to mate with my arm several times while I was lying on the floor. Wednesday (neuter day) can't come fast enough!

    Teenage Mutant Ninja...Bunny?

I have an 8 month old male Holland Lop, who is not neutered yet (but will be on Wednesday). He has always been quite friendly, has never sprayed, never bitten anyone, and is quite good with his litter-box. This surprised me, because from what I'd read, teenage bunnies can be somewhat evil...
