    Mom isn't feeding her babies?

UPDATE: I put the mother back with the baby and she suddenly started nursing! The baby had a full tummy afterward and I'm confused why she suddenly has milk. She was outside all day today and she's been getting lots of food. I'm keeping baby and mom in the same area now but I'm not sure if I...

    Mom isn't feeding her babies?

I have been feeding them more often and they seem to be doing better. We just bought some heavy whipping cream so I be sure to add some! Is there a certain heavy whipping cream to milk ratio? Yes, the mother has alfalfa based pellets, I have not been giving alfalfa hay though. She is eating good...

    Mom isn't feeding her babies?

I've had a lot of litters in the past and they all did great, all of them got fed and were nice a fat. I recently bred a doe of mine for the first time, she only had two babies but they both did fantastic and were rehomed. Just after we rehomed them, the parents accidentally got together again...

Does this Holland Lop have good type/showable?

It's possible but I doubt that he's mini lop because he came with a full pedigree and I believe some of his relatives are from reputable Holland breeders. Thank you a ton anyway though!! 😊

What color is this Netherland Dwarf?

Looks to me like a Smutty Orange which is a showable color but being smutty it would be considered a minor color fault.

Does this Holland Lop have good type/showable?

A while back I made a post on a two week old buck asking if he had good type; most people said he had potential. Now this buck is about 4 or 5 months and I'm wondering if he might be showable at all? I've never showed rabbits and have no idea where to start, or if I should to start with 4-H(I'm...

    Two Holland Lop Babies Born

After a one failed breeding and a false pregnancy Meadow finally gave birth to her first litter! There is only two, one appears to be a Harlequin but you can't tell about the second one. They are super healthy with nice, round tummies. I am so excited for them to get bigger!

    new bunny owner... NEED HELP!!!!

Rabbits of both genders do that to each other to show dominance, it's normal. Rabbits are pretty hard to tell if they are boys or girls and it's easy to make mistakes. I've gotten rabbits in the past that were supposed to be boys but ended up being girls and vise versa so I always double check.

    Please help identify the breed

Looks like a Belgian Hare to me but probably a mix. Definitely not Netherland Dwarf.

    Color?

    I'd say broken orange 😊
