What color is this baby?

He is the one on the right, my female is on the left, I know she is a chestnut agouti. What color is he?

Both appear to be Chestnut Agouti to me, but I don't know a lot about whatever breed they are...Angora?

Agree with Corely. I always have a super hard time telling with the floofy breeds. But they both look much the same to me, so if she's a chestnut...

Well he is a little more light in color and doesn't have all the brown like she does. I know it's hard to tell from the pics though.

It's very possible to have variations in the same color in the same litter.

I kind of have an example of this variation. These are my brit babies all chestnut agouti (one parent was a REW the other chestnut) Mine isnt as defined as yours but you can tell by the noses that one is different. As they got older the one without the black nose was definitely a lighter color. If one of the parents was shaded or wide band i believe you can get a less defined rufus or ring color to the agouti

There's a lot of variation sometimes with in the same color, they both look like Chestnuts to me.
