He´s adorable. I think there are benefits of keeping rabbits both indoors and outdoors, depends on climate, environment and space.
I love having my buns indoors as it gives me much more interaction with them and I can keep a better eye on them. Besides which I don´t really have space to permanently house them outdoors although they do get time on the balcony now.
With yours being a single bun, he may be happier indoors where he has your company. At a later stage, if you think of getting him a friend, you may want to think about moving him outdoors if you have the set up and the space. I wouldn´t recommend housing with chickens due to certain health issues.
