About a week ago I finally decided I was ready to get a bunny. I have done reaserch and knew what I wanted. In my location there isn’t any bunny adoption/rescues within a 100 miles so I got her from a flea market. She came from a loving home and had clearly been handled and lived inside. She had been raised from a kit in this family because they also had her sister. In the hype of getting her I completely forgot to ask ANY questions about her background. I just know she is a female and pregnant.
Here are some images of her:

It would be great if we could get some better pictures that shows her whole body. From what I can see, she looks a bit like a Rex mix.

I will get more this afternoon when I get home. She doesn’t really have the plush fur like a Rex. I think she might be a havana or satin.

You are probably right. I am not the best at figuring out rabbit breeds. If you really want to know for sure what breed he is, you can go to your rabbit vet to have him tested. Good luck with your new rabbit!

She looks like a New Zealand mixed with something small. How much does she weigh?

Could be a Dutch/ New Zealand mix, could be a Mini Rex/ New Zealand, just because she doesn't have rex fur doesn't mean she is not part mini rex, you have to have two copies of the rex fur gene to get rex fur.

Could be a Havana. Without a pedigree though, you can't guarantee anything and are safer to say it's a mixed breed.

Okay to update everyone on Willow, yesterday was the due date her previous owner told us. Howeverwe have no kits yet, she hasn’t built a nest or pulled fur. She is still eating and drinking normally. Her tummy is harm and she is a lot more moody than normal. I’m just worried since this is my first pregnant bunny. I’ve been told to let her run around and to let her smell lavender to help induce labor. A few days before her due date we kept her in her cage so she didn’t try to build a nest under the couch (she loves it there.) Today I let her run around the living room supervised. She acted playful and was kick up her heels and just running around. When I first let her out she was kinda grunting but after a few minutes she was fine. Anybody have any tips on what to do. Should I be worried?

could be a false pregnancy, i had a bunny named Nova and he said she was pregnant when i was getting her and she pulled fur and everything and NO babies came.
