Wet eyes?

So cookie is acting completely normal, normal eating, pooping, peeing...etc. He has started shedding again a bit more...

I noticed a while ago, while petting and snuggling with him that his eyes felt a little wet... Not wet enough to be visible, but feel wet when I wipe my fingers over them... His nose is dry, no other "cold" symptoms...

Should I be concerned? What could cause this? Anything I should watch for?

We are all going away to the cabin in a few days for a week and I'm concerned he might be getting sick...

Was it just 1 eye, so could have been from a speck of something in the eye?

I'd say to check again tomorrow AM to see if better or worse.

It was just the left, but the right had a tiny tiny bit of crust, that came off when I was petting him over his eye... I totally could be hair irritating his eyes, he is shedding the most right now on his head... I'll check again tomorrow...

Keep an eye on it and keep checking but I wouldn't worry too much if it's not visible. Likely it's just hair or some other irritant.
