Hello!
So I am in the process of getting a garden ready for my rabbit but I am planning on using rabbit droppings as fertilizer. The problem is that I'm not sure how to actually use it as fertilizer. Some people say to simply throw the pellets over the gardening area but some other places say it needs to be "let sit" in water and some wood chips thrown in to level out all the nutrients in it. This leaves me a little confused about who is right! :?
I'm very new to this process and my green thumb father doesn't have any prior experience with using rabbit droppings, all his fertilizer (not rabbit) is pre-made and he buys it so we're really not sure how to concoct bunny fertilizer.
Thus I come to gather the knowledge from you guys! How do you prepare and use your rabbit fertilizer and how often do you reapply/would you recommend to reapply for an herb garden/romaine/spinach/collards?
I tried to use the link in the Rabbit 101 forum topic but it is not an active/live link anymore.
