Hi everyone!
I haven't been on here for a long time so I thought I would update! lol! Jude is now about 9 months old and she's pretty small for a flemish (I think so, anyhow) but maybe she still has a little bit of growing to do! I relocated her run. She originally lived in a 4 foot wide by 15 foot long dog run but I was having a hard time making it appropriate for the winter months (roof, siding etc.), so we ended up moving her to our storage space under our deck which has some nice protection from the wind and is against the house on two sides. She still gets a ton of sunlight since two sides are open and when it's windy (like tonight) I have wooden panels that I place on the sides for windbreak. I filled the space up with lots of straw (unfortunately the flooring is concrete) which she always moves out of the way and then lays on the concrete lol! Her insulated dog house that she sleeps in is in there with her and I stuff that with straw and I also put in an electric kennel pad in there that is thermostatically controlled and only heats when she lays on it. She doesn't chew it or anything and I've rigged all the cords up so that she can't access them and she hasn't made any efforts to try She also has a big heated water bowl that's made for dogs so that her water is always a little bit warm. I still cannot get her to eat timothy hay though but she loves one brand of alfalfa hay but I wanted to switch her over at this age, but oh well. I did discover that she has ear mites today but we have a vet appointment tomorrow morning and hopefully that'll be cleared up soon. I'm going to try to put up some pictures of her on this message so hopefully that'll work!!!
