Hi so my rabbit currently has an abscess I went to the vet they think it’s just an infection and she’s been taking antibiotics and anti inflammatory ever since. It’s been 2 days but today she started grinding her teeth. Not constantly but like clicking noises and the same noise she makes when eating pellets or hay. The thing is idk if it’s like painful tooth grinding like I would’ve normally thought because she’s not alert or scared or anything she’s flopped over with her ears back and breathing deeply like she’s sleeping. Am I scared for no reason? I attached a picture of her at this moment

It could be normal tooth chattering, that they do when relaxed or content, which is nothing to do with tooth grinding from pain. But if you have any concerns that your bun might be in pain, or especially if your bun stops eating or eating well, it's best to contact and consult with your vet.

I mean technically she is sick because of the abscess on her cheek maybe it’s that. But I think it’s just purring because she wouldn’t be relaxed like that if she was in pain🤣
