:? This kit looked blue on the first day, and starting on day two began to look tort. So..... is it blue tort? It looks so different from the other tort. Do they vary THIS much? (The mother is black and the father is a smoke pearl)

I'd probably bet that its a blue tort, especially if it looked blue the first day. Do you know the mom's background? Obviously she carries tort. Does she have any blue, lilac or other dilute colors in her background?

Nope, I don't know anything about her background and this is her first litter.

That is a really defined shaded line down his side, and it's throwing me off! Perhaps give him a couple more days to even out?

There's definitely blue there, but, give it a few weeks.
