Sexing Kits

so at the moment my kits are about a month old. iw ant to sex them so we can properly name them/find their forever homes etc.

how do i do it? ive had a peek at their penis/vagina area but i can't REALLY tell...

Here is something that always taught me. Females have toco's and males have donuts.

When you gently pull back on the upper part of their private area to expose everything, you will either see a little circle/hole or a slit. Like misty mentioned, some people call it the "donut" and "taco".

It is difficult to sex young rabbits, especially if you aren't as experienced in doing it. So take your time, maybe check them and compare them to each other over the course of a week, and see what you come up with. You can also post clear pics here and we can try to help.

yeah, that is true. I cant sex them when they are like 2weeks old or more. I can tell by when they are about 6 weeks old.

I take first guesses at 1 day old, then at 2 weeks ('cause I'll be dieing to know if I was right) then at 6 weeks. I have about a 85% success rate at sexing them at 1 day. After 1 day, they swell up and you can't tell, though.
